Child attacked by dogs in Wokingham

Police have launched an investigation after a 3-year-old boy was attacked by two dogs in Wokingham.

The boy was stood on a footbridge in the middle of the field next to Forest Road and Emmbrook Road on Friday afternoon with his mum when it happened.

The dogs, thought to be black Scottish Terriers came running over and starting attacking the child.

Their owner walked over and pulled them off the boy before putting them back on their leads and walked off.

The boy suffered puncture wounds to his upper legs.

Police are keen to speak to the owner of the dogs- she's described as in her late 50's to early sixties, around 5ft 4ins, with short black hair and was wearing dark trousers and a dark jumper.

PC William Laurie from Loddon Valley police station said, "I am keen to speak to any one who witnessed this incident or knows who this woman is."
