Royals defender Matt Mills was delighted to pick up a vital three points at the weekend, but felt he was rather unfortunate to be sent off for handball towards the end of the game.
Mills had played very well against his former club, and it was a debatable decision to penalise and dismiss the 23-year-old.
Mills will now serve a one-game ban and misses the Plymouth game. He said, "As soon as the ball bounced I knew he was going to shoot, I tried to make myself big but felt it hit my chest first. He scuffed the shot so that makes it look slow."
He continued, "It's a massive win for us, when you're in the relegation zone any three points is massive and now we want three in a row. When Doncaster get the ball down and play in midfield they can be different class and it's like they have an extra man, but we shut them out well."
Mills was a contender for man of the match before his dismissal, and he is enjoying a run of games. "I've felt good since coming back in against Liverpool. I've done lot of work with the physios, getting fit after missing a lot of pre-season but I hope there is more to come."
