Where did you go to school and were you naughty? Too many to mention because I was brought up travelling the world with jet-set parents, but in England Gunnersbury Catholic Grammar School For Boys, to give it its full name was my high school. Did my masters degree at University of East London. Of course I was naughty, still am, always have and always will rebel, the world needs changing right?
First job - and would you do it again? My first proper jobs were in shops in Hounslow High Street, London, like the record department at Woolworths and a trendy shoe shop called Ravel, and a couple of trendy clothes shops. Working in shops can be fun and you meet lots of people.
While the music's playing, what do you do? You'd be amazed how many things a radio presenter can get done during a 3 minute record.. pop down the shops, have a bit of lunch, go to the loo, make a few phone calls, have a shower, wash the car.. but seriously, we're preparing the next bit that we have to do.
Do you have any embarrassing albums in your collection at home? No absolutely not, I have always had impecable music tastes, how dare you even ask that question!
Favourite food? The foreign muck I love to eat is Indian, Chinese and Italian. I'm also a fast-food fan, so pizzas and burgers feature highly in my diet. And you can't beat a good pastie or sausage roll.
Favourite pub? No I don't drink, not on this strong medication.
Reading's best-kept secret? That it's a really nice place and people should visit more often?
What's your favourite album? My tastes are varied, but Hotel California by The Eagles will always bring out the hippy in me, and Computer World by Kraftwerk will always hit my Techno spot.
First job - and would you do it again? You've already asked me that.. pay attention will you.
Favourite Film? Oh so many.. from historical films to Star Trek.
What's your favourite holiday destination? Egypt, Spain.
Favourite place to eat? Burger King.
What's your favourite tipple? Latte Coffee.
And your favourite place to drink it? At home.
Prefer a take away or eating out? A huge Chinese or Indian take away is always more exciting.
Do you like sport or are you a couch potato? Yes both, was brought up in a very noisy football family!
Best live act you've ever seen? I've been to lots of concerts but they always dissapoint me, live songs sound very different to the records, and vocals are not very good live. Recordings and live performances are two very different things, a record is a work of art like a painting, I can understand why people want to see live singing, but it's an alternative version of what you fell in love with, it's something else, so no I'm into the works of art, the records.
Any party tricks? I can eat more than anybody, and I have a knack for finding real parties where I don't have to pay for my own drinks too (shakes head and rolls eyes in disgust at the shameless people who've invited him to parties only to discover he's to pay for his own drinks).
What's the thing you're least likely to say? I give up.
Any hobbies? Most of my spare time is spent on the PC and online, I'm passionate about the latest graphics, Flash and video software and I collect fonts. I love designing things in Photoshop. I also have a passion for creatng my own music tracks using the latest VSTs, those are software synthesizers. Apart from that I'm blessed with green fingers, and when I can be bothered I grow tomatoes and peppers from seed.
Who'd you most like to interview? Jesus.
Who's your idol or hero and why? My heroes are those incredible souls who work for charities, or people who're able to help others in need. Learning how to be of service to the rest of humanity should be on the school curriculuum. There is too much greed and selfishness in the world today, it's what caused the economic crash.
What's your 1st childhood memory? Remembering to tell your Mum you're hungry so she's feed you?
Who'd be your top five dinner party guests (dead or alive)? Jesus, Einstein, Mozart, any alien, and for giggles the guy who's idea it was to bottle up water and convince people to buy it.
How are you most likely to spend your day off? When I'm not doing live radio shows on Reading 107, I run my own commercial production company, I do lots of voice-overs myself, and I produce a weekly syndicated radio programme.. there's no such thing as a day off!
What would you most like to be remembered for? Creating something unique and world-changing.
When did you last chuck a sicky? Never.
What do you keep in your car glove compartment? Well it's not gloves, ours is stuffed with chewing gum, pens, pads, new albums I need to listen to, nothing nickable.
Name a good deed you've done that you're proud of? I once let a moquito feeding on my arm live.
Something you'd rather not admit? Not telling you €˜cause I'd rather not admit it.
